Mold designing

The design of the mold can be provided by the customer or required for the design. Mold design job may includes:

• Design contours, geometric shapes of products by 3D simulations.
• “Technical analysis” of products, details, (conditions of corners, exit angles, thickness, materials…).
• Design mold parts.
• Export drawings or design files.

Mold material

Materials used in making molds are usually aluminum, copper, iron, PTFE plastic… Depending on the product to be made, the manufacturing process, the manufacturer selects the corresponding suitable material or combines several types of materials together.
